Company profile

“An approach that,” according to the definition by IFMA (International Facility Management Italia,) “via the planning and supply of services supporting the company’s core business, allows to increase the organization’s effectiveness and to make it capable of easily and quickly adapting to market changes”

Minerva SpA was established in the 1980’s as a cleaning company and subsequently began its development in the direction of building sanitation and maintenance. Over time, it created its own strong identity and became a solid and multi-structured enterprise.

Starting with civil and industrial cleaning services, we were capable of growing internal competences and of giving added value to our work. This led us to our increasing leadership in the field of integrated management of residential structures and hospitals.

The key principle behind our growth over the years has been and remains Facility Management. By perceiving and translating into practice its most modern meaning, we have transformed what initially was a ‘multi-service’ approach into veritable integrated management of corporate facilities.

By 2008, Minerva was serving 10 hospitals in Friuli Venezia Giulia, including the Centro di Riferimento Oncologico of Aviano. Over the following years, it gained other important clients, such as national and international institutes of excellence such as the research area of the International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology of Trieste.

At the same time, Minerva gathered more and more experience, knowledge and skills, pursuing the continuing improvement suggested by the Integrated Management System, following the EFOM (European Foundation for Quality Management) guidelines in order to reach the sustainable excellence objectives in the supply of maximum quality services and thus exalting the company’s professionalism and know-how.

In 2014, Minerva SpA became Minerva Group, namely a solid and unified group of companies, some of which are leaders in the fields of hospital and civil sanitation, logistics and shipbuilding.
